This policy describes how Ulvori handles information on ulvori.com and in the Windows desktop game. Steam has its own privacy policy for your Steam account, purchases, and store activity. The terms of use cover play and the website.
Who we are
The operator of Ulvori can be reached at [email protected]. That address is the contact for this policy and for Ulvori game data.
This website does not run a player login. A game account is created when you launch the desktop app with a verified Steam identity.
This website
ulvori.com is a public information site. It does not host the game, take payments, or keep player accounts.
We do not use advertising cookies or analytics products here. The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary request logs, such as IP address, browser, time, and the page requested, so the site can run and stay secure.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address long enough to answer and to handle the request.
The game
Gameplay needs a network connection. After Steam confirms who you are, Ulvori stores:
- the Steam identity we verified, mapped to an internal player ID
- an optional display name
- your heroes, including names, class, strategy, personality, equipment, and progress
- expeditions, journals, memories, relationships, and other saved game history
- resource balances and any timed benefits we have granted
- records needed to run expeditions
Display, sound, and animation preferences in the installed app stay on your computer. They are not part of your Ulvori player profile.
Do not put real names, contact details, or anyone else's personal information into hero names, display names, or other game text. That text is stored as game data.
Why we keep it
We use this information to:
- confirm that you own the game and sign you in
- run expeditions, including after you close the app
- show you journals, progress, and account details
- keep the service working, secure, and fair
- answer support and data requests
We do not sell player information.
Who else sees it
Steam receives what it needs to authenticate you and to check ownership and purchases. Payments stay on Steam.
We currently host the game services on a Hostinger virtual private server. That host processes technical data needed to run the machine.
We share information if the law requires it, or if we must protect the service against abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep game data while your account is active. Host backups can hold a copy for a limited time after a change.
If you ask us to delete your Ulvori account, we disable play and clear the display name, then work through remaining history, logs, and backups. Some records may remain for a time in backups, security logs, or where the law requires us to keep them. Not every copy is erased the moment we receive the request.
Your choices
You can change your display name in the game. You can change local app settings on your computer.
To see, correct, or delete Ulvori game data, or to ask for a copy, email [email protected]. Tell us enough to find the Steam account in question. If privacy laws in your country give you further rights, we will handle the request under those rules.
The packaged game does not yet include an in-app export or delete control. Email is the supported path. Steam account deletion is handled by Valve, not by Ulvori.
Children
Ulvori is not directed at children under 13. Steam's own rules also require players to meet Steam's age requirements. Do not create heroes that describe a real child.
