Terms of use

The game

Ulvori is a Windows desktop game. You prepare heroes and a strategy. During an expedition the game decides what they do. Expeditions can continue on our servers after you close the app.

This website does not include a playable game. You buy and run Ulvori through Steam. The game needs a network connection. There is no offline mode.

Ulvori is still being built. Features, rules, campaigns, and saved progression may change.

Steam and your account

Steam signs you in. The first verified launch creates an Ulvori player record tied to that Steam identity. There is no separate Ulvori password.

You are responsible for the Steam account you use and for the text you put in the game. You must also meet Steam's age requirements.

Purchases

The base game is a one-time Steam purchase. If we offer extra content or timed benefits, those are also bought on Steam. Ulvori does not take card payments and does not start a recurring charge of its own.

Refunds follow Steam's refund policy.

Automated play

Unless you take command, heroes choose their actions and speak by the game's own rules and written lines. What they do and say can be odd, repetitive, or wrong. It is part of play, not advice, and it is not a statement about any real person.

Do not enter personal information about yourself or other people into hero names, display names, or other game text.

Fair use

You may not:

• cheat, exploit, or interfere with the service
• attack or overload the servers, or probe them beyond ordinary play
• impersonate us or mislead other players
• use the game or site for anything illegal

We may suspend or close an Ulvori account that breaks these rules. That does not replace Steam's own enforcement.

Availability

We may pause the service for maintenance or because something has failed. We do not promise uninterrupted play, or that a particular expedition will finish in a set time.

Our material

Ulvori, including the client, servers, art, and writing, belongs to us and our licensors. Steam grants you the right to use the game under the Steam Subscriber Agreement. These terms add rules for Ulvori's online service. You do not own those materials.

Game history you create, such as hero names, biographies, and journals, may be stored and shown to you as part of the service. We may also use it to operate, debug, and improve the game.

If something goes wrong

The site and game are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, failed expeditions, or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that limit is forbidden.
